Samah Sadek

Samah Sadek, Canadian-Egyptian writer, born and lived in Cairo and studied literature in its University, then completed her studies ”Online journalism” in USA, and finally immigrated to Canada in 2010.

​

Samah published her first book “the girl who feels cold in my heart” in 2010, and her first novel, “TransCanada” was published in 2014, She founded in 2011 the literary group “Arabic tales in Montreal “.

​

In Montreal Samah studied French and got a DEP in graphic, now she is working as graphic designer and editor for some Arabic periodicals.

​

The hustle of the cities is the source of her inspiration, as developed by the experience of travel between many places she became more interested in themes like: identity, freedom and human rights.
